About the New Classical Performing Arts Association
New Classical Performing Arts (NCPAA) is tackling one of the greatest challenges facing classical music - how to generate interest and exposure for new classical music, especially among students and young adults. Our mission is to develop and implement ground breaking solutions to this problem that has gripped the classical music world for many years.
We believe that development of new classical music is vital to the continued existence of classical music in general. Without new music that can excite a broad fan base, classical music becomes a museum for the past, with a perception of irrelevance to today's generation. Our organization aims to change the perception of classical music as an art form for a select few and is working toward the acceptance of classical music as an integral part of popular culture that can be enjoyed by all.
The first phase of the organization's mission is to provide funding support for Neo Camerata, a revolutionary new classical music group combining the emotion and skill of classical with a pop culture presentation and attitude. Other projects are also being developed for future launch.
