Hello. Thank you for the beautiful music and inspiration.

Are the tour dates on the site updated? I'm really wanting my sister in San Francisco to see you.

And thanks for the nice, touching story regarding your former student in the news section.

Lougene Meers - 4/29/07 2:01am
I am interested in auditioning for you guys. I am a violinist.

Judith Cherry - 4/18/07 11:20am

Hey, Suzuki Boys! Great to see you are all alive and doing VERY well! Would be interested in having you come to Cincinnati for a performance/Clinic??Drop me an email sometime!
Say "hey" to your mom and dad! Just got a card/phone call from Eric Fandrich and his family!

Roland Elbert - 12/15/06 1:40am
Great music (and a great website).

Pablo M - 9/8/06 8:01pm
Hey I was curious as to when the next concert that you guys will be having in either Dallas or Austin will be? Is there anything in the works?

Michelle Watson - 6/19/06 5:07pm
Hi Neo Camerata,
How are you all doing? I am good, I miss your music a lot and the band. I had such a fabulous time on tour over a year ago, but I will never forget my time with ya'll!!
Love, Michelle

Melissa Bach - 4/4/06 1:42pm
I just discovered NeoCamerata -- I'm really impressed. Has Mark Landson published his string quartets? And if so, where can I purchase them? I am a cellist in a string quartet based in Chicago. Besides standard gigs, we also perform once a month in a bar, and I would really like to perform something by him in that venue (I love Youth & Optimism). I look forward to hearing from someone.

Thanks!
Melissa Bach

Ken - 3/20/06 3:07pm
I just heard your work for the first time, and had to stop and find out more about the band. Excellent music. Come to Ann Arbor soon.

Chris - 3/4/06 4:32pm
Wow! I love your work. I am buying "Travels" off Amazon right now. Come to Massachusetts.

Eric - 3/2/06 10:27am

Deirdre - 11/21/05 6:38pm
My husband heard some of your Travels on Maine Public Radio today and wrote it down. (We had the darnedest time finding you because he didn't have the "D" in Landson. ) I am delighted to have made it to this site and we are now going to tyr to figure out how to buy the album.

Amanda - 11/17/05 4:49pm
We played your album at our wedding last month!! It was perfect. I danced like a banshee. Hope I'll get the chance to dance while you all're playing live. Love the way you crash the bars.

Katy Lewellen - 11/13/05 9:29am
I saw Neo Camerata in Irving, Texas on Nov. 12 and they were amazing. Being a high school violinist, the performance made me want to continue the violin. Amazing show, hope you come back to Irving SOON!

Armand Ross Hocker - 11/2/05 9:47am
I met Jeanne Schumann in the summer of 2001 at the Cleveland Institute of Music. She was so gracious and charming and kind to me: a magnificent lady. I knew immediately before I ever heard her play the piano that she was a true talent. My teachers were Susan Majeske, Adeline Huss and Geraldo Tessonniere. They all spoke very highly of her. I knew her as Elizabeth Schumann but she is also dear Jeanne. She has so many years of great music-making ahead with Neo Camerata and as a soloist of the highest order.

Susie - 10/27/05 4:17pm
I was deeply touched by your performance at the UN concert in Oakland. Your music has such emotional intensity and breathtaking virtuosity. The five of you are so in tune with one another as you play, it's as if you are five parts of a whole musical organism, rather than five individuals. Loved it! Definitely buying your album!

Dustin Reid - 10/26/05 11:55pm
I'm a DJ at the NPR station in Abilene, Texas and I played your Travels album without hearing it first tonight and I'm blown away. Perhaps I'll stop in on the Allen show before I go see Iron & Wine at the Ridglea Saturday night.

Lissa Parker` - 10/24/05 11:45am
Words fail me. I saw Neo Camerata perform last night at the Paramount in Oakland, CA, and I was dazzled. So when are you going to perform on "The Tonight Show" and spread the word to the masses? The five of you are truly brilliant performers.

Tim - 10/2/05 12:45pm
I saw Jane perform with the Irish Sopranos. The Irish Sopranos were good, but Jane Hunt stole the show. She combined beauty, poise and virtuosity to give an awesome, totally satisfying performance. I only regretted that I did not have my camera to get a photo of her. Look forward to seeing her perform with Neo Camerata.

Glenn Bradley - 9/29/05 5:10pm
Hi there, we met on the set of Lament. I hope you remember me, we talked about you possibly doing music for our film "The Final FIght". please contact me so that we can chat further.

Davina Rhodes - 9/25/05 10:13am
ohmigod Jane Hunt! What ARE you doing on that side of the pond?! Everybody loves you and you're on google! Hope you're touring the UK soon so can get the hockey girls together in cheerleaders outfits for you! Love you loads, Davina xXx

Ronald L. Brubaker - 9/25/05 1:31am
Saw Jane perform with the Irish Sopranos. She absolutely stole the show. I'm looking forward to hearing your group.

john connolly - 9/22/05 1:14pm
caught jane last night in hot springs village and learned of your group. looking forward to your cd in october

Col. Festus Beauregard - 9/21/05 11:35pm
I've never seen such wild chemistry between violinists before, as you speccato while he pizzacattos. Adieu!

Eddie Bauer - 9/10/05 7:45pm
Jane Hunt, seeing you from the front row of the band's Kennedy Center performance today was a formative experience for me. I was the toddler who couldn't keep his eyes off you. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my whole life, but then I'm only 15 months old. If I could post-date a marriage proposal by, say, 17 years or so, would you wait for me? I just can't get that black outfit and flowing blonde hair off my mind. Whenever I hear a violin again, I'll be magically transported to the image I captured of you today, thrashing that violin with unsurpassed feminine beauty and charm. You are the impossible standard against whom all other women throughout my life will be judged. I think I'm in love!

Ashley - 9/10/05 2:35pm
I've been on the mailing list for a few months now, and I finally got a chance to see you guys on Thursday at your little show at Gachet in Dallas. Your music is amazing! I can't wait to get another chance to have the rockin Neo C experience!

Normala - 9/7/05 5:31am
Hey Mark and rest of Neo Camerata band members. The best of luck with your "Travels" CD album and all your upcoming shows. You're an inspiration to me and my pathetic violin playing! :P

Natasha - 9/7/05 12:17am
I'll be performing with you guys in Oakland at the Paramont and just heard your music for the first time. How exciting and wonderful! I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

Hey guys,
Are you going to perform in Los Angeles any time soon? I would love to come see you perform. I'm also a violinist and I like that you combine the classical and pop. Please let me know of any concerts in LA. Thanks!!! :-)

Nelson Ho - 6/5/05 1:26am
Hello John, you guys are great, the music are fabulous. Thanks for the free download mp3, I can't wait to see your live performance on the 17. I think you guys will be very very success.

Samik Chattopadhyay - 6/4/05 5:57pm
Hey guys,
I've hardly been checking up on your site but as of now, I just remembered how this music group knows how to adjust to modern sounds. That is important and I think that is the reason why a lot of symphonies are facing financial crises.

Tommy - 5/26/05 1:07pm
You guys are great, man! The music is awesome and the site looks cool. Let me know when you're in LA area!

Jenni - 4/21/05 3:53pm
Hi - I was at The Point on Tuesday supporting my friends "Brake for Wilson" and caught your set. I am a musician, classically trained, and I wanted to let you know that I loved your sound. Beautiful phrasing, fantastic musicianship and it had been too long since I had heard a viola played with impeccable intonation. Kudos to you guys! Please put me on your mail list and let me know the next time you travel through the Philly area.

Dawson - 4/11/05 1:09am
Hi Neo Camerata,
Caught your set with Sara Hamman at Club Da Da. Very nice work and good luck with the tour!

I remember a Florentine Camarata in music history (i,e, Ottavio Rinuccini,Vincenzo Galilei, and Jacopo Corsi)

I am a band leader that just wanted to let you know I enjoyed the quartet! I left a card with your pal Michelle, so give me a ring when you get back from the Northeast. And rock the World Cafe!
Peace, Dawson of "Dawson's New Rage"

Gerard Bendiks - 4/4/05 10:10am
Nice site!

Alyson Barnett - 4/2/05 11:00pm

Tricia Scott - 4/2/05 2:48am
I'm so pleased to hear of your upcoming tour...it's a long time coming. I wish you all continued success.

Ginger Fuller - 3/12/05 12:32pm
Hi Mark and John,
Your music is wonderful as always. It's so good to see you both doing so well and doing what you both do best. If you're ever playing back in Pittsburgh it would be great to come see you play. It's been a long time since North Hills Christian. Congratulations on your success.

Alex Cherry - 12/28/04 6:39pm
Thought I'd drop in and stop by - my mom gave me a copy of the CD a while back, and it's enjoyed constant rotation on my playlists. Given my music collection and diversity of taste, that's pretty impressive. I'm trying to spread the love down here - I can put out promo materials for you if you like - contact me via email.

Oh, and you might know my mom and I - she's Judith Cherry. :)

Roni Gan - 9/14/04 4:16pm
You guys sound great! Really nice website. So when's the big tour? I'd love to see you guys play live. Hope you swing up to Chicago. By the way, Mr. and Mrs. Vamos send a hello to Mark and John.

michael v - 8/22/04 12:57pm
hello hayden.
sorry i missed the show at dada, but i will catch up with you at next performance to check out the band. thanks so much for the cd.

Redsky - 8/13/04 7:38am
just wanted to let you all know I was here and have been for some time!!

Anne Ku - 6/25/04 7:15pm
Thanks for letting me know about your site, John! Very nice layout - the BIO section is brilliant! Giving away MP3's for joining the club - what a terrific idea! Let me know when you're going to be playing in London or anywhere in Europe. I have a big entourage of concert goers who would love to hear your music!

RMM - 6/1/04 8:27pm
I continue to be drawn to your site just to listen to the music. Is this your most recent release? Is all your music this intriging? I hope that I can find some of this music here in NE Ohio. The head master of the Cleveland Orchestra is a member of our church congragation. We get the privilege of hearing him play violin occasionally. Hearing him play with our pianist doesn't even compare to hearing your awesome ensemble. Keep up the hard work and commitment to "real" music.

Mark says
Hi RMM - Thanks for letting us know how much you are liking the music!

Our whole reason for starting this group was to be able to affect people like yourself in a profound way. I'm glad it's working!

In writing the music, my greatest desire is to pull you into a world that is not only very emotionally affecting, but also has intelligent parallels to the real world that we experience everyday. Sometimes I don't know how it happens, but I'm just very persistent in only keeping the best stuff that I write.

We'll be coming your way pretty soon. I'm sure we'll be playing in Cleveland on the tour we're putting together for this year.

If you sign up for the mailing list, when the news breaks about the dates for the tour, you'll be in the know. And, of course, please let your friends know about the Neo Camerata experience so we can pack the house!

Journey of Mind and Emotion is our first CD, but we'll be playing other things that I have written as well when we go on tour.

Little known fact - I used to live in Cleveland, and I loved going down to the harbour area with a friend's boat. We would waterski at midnight. Kids - don't try this at home! :)

BTW, if you see Bill Preucil, the violinist you may be talking about, give him my best. I'm a big fan of his, and just to be mentioned next to him is a great honor!

Racheal Krapff-Maddox - 5/31/04 2:56pm
Your music is great to listen to. Thanks to Renee for informing me of this website!

Renee Krapff - 5/26/04 12:41am
I am really impressed by your music. I can't wait to see you guys play live!

Ryan - 4/27/04 10:28pm
Mark,
After hearing only 2 songs on the web I'm captured. Your music surrounds me. I would imagine it playing in Edgar Degas' ear as he painted "Ballerina," or in Vincent Van Gogh's as he looked out on that "Starry Night." I was truely moved. I look forward to hearing Neo live. When are you coming to DC?

From Mark
Hey Ryan! We'd love to have you come out to see us soon. Washington will definitely be on the list of dates for the coming tour. I've got you on the mailing list, so you'll get first hand info when we know when!

Mary Asmar - 4/23/04 9:54am
Dear John, Mark and everybody. Thanks for a wonderful evening of music. I really felt alive. I know I will enjoy your CD for a long time. Best wished to your mom and dad. They did a great job.

Adam Buker - 4/7/04 6:00pm
It's fantastic to see a New Music ensemble that is devoted to beauty, joy, life, and art rather than the jarringly harsh sounds of most new 'art' music. Keep up the good work!

Jane - 4/1/04 12:08pm
Hi Mark! It was great meeting you at the "Hub". Heard a little bit of the music and really like it. I'm going to have to pick up the CD soon! Keep in touch!

Giana dePaul - 3/20/04 8:12am
Would love to get e-mails of your schedule.

Rachel Merritt - 2/12/04 8:21am
My daughter, my dad and I had the opportunity to see Vesselin Demirev and Valeria Vetruccio perform at St. Thomas Aquinas church on Tuesday, and the performance was amazing. I believe Franck's Sonata was my favorite selection of the night. Vesselin's passion for the violin emanates with every phrase. My daughter was riveted throughout the performance.
The venue was inspiring for this type of performance, and the acoustics were incredible. We will be watching the show schedule in the future, and will recommend NEO Camarata to our friends. Thank you for and excellent night of amazing music!

Toni G. - 1/11/04 8:34pm
Hey John and Mark!
Do you happen to remember me? Let me say one word for you: Toni Gan...actually that's two words isn't it? Well I heard you guys on the radio and just thought I'd freak you out by sending you an e-mail off your website. I'm 15 now and I'm still playing the cello! In fact, I'll be going to Meadowmount this summer! Roni just graduated from N.E.C. and is now studying with the Vamos couple in Chicago. Great to hear you guys and keep up the good work! Oh, and say hi to your mom and dad for me! Maybe I'll catch one of your performances in the future! :)
-Toni Gan

joe - 1/10/04 11:10pm
Mark,
I'd like to order two copies of Dream on a Cirrus Cloud arr. for vln/pno. Let me know please.

Please inscribe one to Michael McCarthy with your best wishes and one to me.

Thanks,
Joe

Mark Landson - 11/20/03 11:34am
Wow, Samik! I'm flattered. Thank you very much for your comments. It would mean a lot to the folks up there at WQED that people who have heard the CD and their broadcast of it are enjoying it! If you could, just send your comments to Anna Singer, the program manager at music@wqed.org. Thanks again for taking the time to write in!

Samik Chattopadhyay - 11/20/03 11:13am
The CD is wonderful. I have never heard such a great classical ensemble play a very modern way by blending classical music with today's popular music. I hardly ever buy any classical music CDs since I do not think that classical music sounds great on recording but Mr. Mark Landson knows how to compose the right classical music to sound great on recordings.

Samik Chattopadhyay - 11/16/03 1:48pm
Wow. I just ordered the CD from www.cdbaby.com after hearing "Travels" on the Pittsburgh classical music station WQED FM. I rarely hear any classical music ensembles that create excellent contempory music.

Jeri Paduch - 11/13/03 1:10pm
Hi Mark
Enjoyed the website. Will pick up CD at Tower.

Lawrence Lee Lane - 11/12/03 8:53am

I was going to email you tonight to order a dozen CD's and then I got your email about the Borders performance! I've been listening to your CD every time I'm in the car and I love it so much that I want to share it with my friends. Congratulations on your success! The music is phenomenal. Your playing is so invigorating and the composition so intriguing that it transports me to another world.

Elaine Donaldson - 11/9/03 10:35pm
Great performance Saturday! The CD is great, too. Your unique approach, original music, and talented musicians are awesome and sure to bring you success.

John Landefeld - 11/9/03 4:22pm
A big thanks to all that attended the Borders performance on Saturday! We will indeed play a full length concert soon - join CLUB NEO today so that we can tell you when the next event is.
On a personal note, every day that I make music with these guys I feel reborn - it is simply one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Thanks for sharing with us the joy of music and how it moves and motivates us all to reach to new heights!
John Landefeld

Ute Goepfert - 11/9/03 2:33pm
I love your music!

Glenn Holman - 11/9/03 2:30pm
Greatly enjoyed your performance last night at Borders! I hope to see you play longer sometime soon. I'm proud of you, too, but not as much as your Mom and Dad. :)

Lorrraine Landefeld - 11/8/03 2:33pm
Wonderfully creative website!
Great job, Mark......
We're proud of you!
Love, Mom and Dad

This is Chuck from Izmir Deli today. Just wanted to drop a line and say hello. If you would, please add me to your mailing list.

Hope you enjoyed That 1 Guy. Give the video on his website a look and it'll make more sense -- you can see where all that sound is coming from. :)

Mark Richter - 10/27/03 2:12pm
"I met John today at Stonebriar Community Church where I am the flutist in the woodwind quintet and orchestra. I enjoyed chatting with John about his wonderful instrument and his knowledge of the cello. I would be interested in how Mark might put a popular form on the Bach flute sonatas, like BWV 1020 and 1035. I'll sign up for your mailing list and listen to your mp3's. I like what I hear in the sample music so far. Great ensemble-ing!"

Mark Landson - 10/18/03 1:03pm
Thanks, Alyson!

Alyson - 10/18/03 1:00pm
WOW! This is such an awesome c.d.! Everyone needs to hear this. It's such a wonderful experience, with every piece giving life to a new day. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

nscot7 - 10/15/03 2:30pm
I enjoy listening to my CD in the car...it does wonders for road RAGE in Dallas!!! It's refreshing to hear classical music that tells a story. This is a great CD...I'd recommend this CD to anyone!

Mark Landson - 10/13/03 3:41pm
